Search shared content, read pages and blocks, query data sources, and update authorized pages
Connect Notion to use pages and structured workspace content in a project. The connection can access only content shared with the authorized Notion integration.

Connect Notion
In project chat, describe the content the app needs and choose shared or published app-user ownership. During Notion authorization, select the pages and data sources Swarmz may use. Content that you do not share is not searchable through the connector.
Use a shared connection for a team knowledge base. Use published app-user mode when each app user connects their own Notion workspace. Enter the published app's HTTPS origin in the configuration card, then select Configure.
Use Notion in personal AI chat
You can also connect Notion's hosted MCP server as personal build context. This is a separate authorization from a shared or published app-user connection: it lets the Swarmz AI use the tools Notion exposes while helping you build, but it does not silently become a credential inside the published app.
Verify Notion
- Search for a page shared with the integration.
- Read its properties and first page of blocks.
- If you use data sources, run a bounded query and confirm a known row.
- Create a disposable child page, update one property, and append one text block.
- Archive the disposable page.
If search returns no expected content, open the page in Notion and share it with the integration, then retry. If reads work but a write fails, reconnect with Notion write permission and confirm the parent page is shared.
Swarmz does not grant access beyond the pages selected in Notion. Removing a connection deletes its stored credential; it does not delete Notion pages.
