Custom MCP server
Connect any compatible public remote MCP server to your Swarmz chat
Use a custom personal AI connector for an internal tool or third-party MCP server that does not have a preset. The connection belongs to you and is never included in a published app.
Connect a server
An administrator must enable Custom MCP. In Settings > Integrations, select Custom MCP, enter a display name and public HTTPS Streamable HTTP endpoint, then choose OAuth, bearer token, or no authentication.
Swarmz blocks private-network destinations, limits redirects and response sizes, discovers a bounded tool list, and sends only the arguments approved for the selected tool.
Example prompt:
Use my Release Tools MCP connection to read the current staging release. Do not deploy or change a release without asking me.
Verify and remove
After connecting, check the displayed server URL and discovered tool count. Ask the agent to call a harmless read-only tool. Any tool not marked read-only requires approval.
If discovery fails, confirm HTTPS, DNS reachability, Streamable HTTP support, and the authentication method. Removing the connection deletes its encrypted credential and discovered tools from Swarmz.
